Summit County is recruiting for an experienced professional looking to make a difference in a region that takes pride in our Public Health programs. The successful candidate must specialize in the Early Intervention (EI) Physical Therapist field. Come join an excellent team of health care providers. This is an exceptional opportunity for a caring, Physical Therapist to share their skills in a variety of professional level duties. These duties include assessing, providing service, and planning, documenting the needs and progress for EI eligible children. The Physical Therapist develops and implements individual treatment plans for problems based on assessments and observations. Including play, positioning, splinting, durable medical equipment and overall development. Services are provided in the child's natural environment.
Minimum Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Physical Therapy. Must hold a current license with the State of Utah Department of Commerce - Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing; and recent experience in a pediatric physical therapy field.
Salary: $29.85 - $41.80/hourly. Will be working less than 30 hours per week. Successful applicants must possess a valid driver's license and hold or complete the Utah State Health Department Early intervention II (EI II) qualifications within one year of hire. Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred. Summit County is a drug free workplace conducting pre-employment drug testing.
