Assistant Nurse Manager: Endocrinology
The Assistant Nurse Manager working with the Nurse Director has the authority, responsibility and accountability for the nursing administration and nursing clinical practice of the Infertility Center. The Assistant Nurse Manager assists the Nurse Director in developing and initiating goals and objectives, monitoring compliance with applicable policies and procedures, communicating department’s patient care standards, and coordinating implementation of patient care in support of the goals of the Infertility Program.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree in Nursing preferred. Must have and maintain current licensure with the State of Rhode Island as a Registered Nurse. Must have current ACLS. Must have current BLS certification. Supervisory management experience in a hospital/healthcare environment desirable. Strong leadership and human relations skills required; must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and know of computer applications.
